Recipe: Smoothie Bowls
Join breakfast’s biggest fad and get your five-a-day with the perfect homemade smoothie bowl. It takes a bit of prepping (just chopping and freezing) but once your bowls are prepped, they’re a quick, easy, and oh-so-good way to start your day.
Although buying a smoothie bowl out might give you instant gratification, making one at home is much more fulfilling — and it’s surprisingly easy to make them just as pretty (and Instagrammable). Plus, you can control servings and sub-ins to your liking. Include plenty of seeds and nuts, which add fiber and protein, to prevent a major sugar rush (and crash) from all that fruit.
Try the combinations below or let your imagination run wild and come up with your own unique smoothie bowl recipe!
